We would like to let you know about some recent changes which may affect the way you access our eNewspapers and eMagazines collections. Earlier this year, following a review of our digital magazine and newspaper collections, we introduced PressReader to our eCollection. This is a fantastic – and free – digital resource which provides library members with access to more than 7,000 international and local eMagazines and eNewspaper titles. We wish to advise you that most of the content which was previously available in our RB Digital collection is now accessible via PressReader. However, you will continue to be able to access New Scientist and National Geographic titles via RB Digital.
The Age and The Financial Review newspapers can be accessed via the links on our eCollections page.
PressReader is easy to use, and can be accessed via the library website or by using the PressReader app. To use the app, simply search for PressReader on Google Play Store (on an Android device) or App Store (on an Apple device) and download to your device. The rest is as simple as 1, 2, 3:
1. In the ‘Sign In’ area, select the blue ‘Libraries & Groups’ button 2. From the pull down menu search/select Geelong Regional Library Corporation 3. Enter your Library Membership number and PIN
We hope you enjoying exploring our digital collections. If you have any questions, you can call the eCollections Support Helpline on (03) 4201 0645, or contact your local branch.
