Help us solve an historical puzzle!

Untitled.Showa allows its audience to help solve an historic puzzle. Come explore a collection of photographs of Japanese people taken in Japan, mostly from the 1930s to the1960, that were found in Geelong – but no one knows how they got there.

Untitled.Showa has a lofty goal; they aim to find ways to unite or reunite the original prints with the people in the photographs, their family, the copyright holder/s or to an appropriate archive. The reward is that the audience gets to participate in real time with the unfolding of an exciting contemporary/historical story.

The Untitled.Showa Exhibition features large scale prints of some images from the historical photographic collection of the same name, accompanied by interactive multimedia elements. Join us at the Dome to see if you can help solve the mystery of these photos!
